Secure IT Asset Disposition | Server Decommissioning | Enterprise Hardware Recovery
Secure, accountable retirement of servers, storage, networking equipment, and enterprise technology assets throughout Southern California.
LeStage Corp helps businesses, MSPs, and IT service providers manage retired infrastructure through coordinated decommissioning, serialized asset tracking, equipment recovery, and responsible disposition.
Operational status
Retiring enterprise IT equipment should not create unnecessary security risks, storage problems, or operational burdens. LeStage Corp is building a coordinated disposition practice for San Diego County and Southern California. The workflow on this page is the intended operating model. Scope, method, and downstream partners are confirmed after assessment — not advertised as already certified or universally in place.
Assessments, project scoping, and partnership conversations are open now.
Serialized tracking, sanitization workflows, and reporting packages are being built and are confirmed per engagement.
Destruction and recycling are coordinated through qualified downstream providers when the project requires them. LeStage Corp does not operate a certified recycling facility.
Services
We focus on reducing the labor required to inventory, remove, process, test, and remarket retired hardware while preserving accountability throughout the disposition process.
01 · Under development
Planned capabilities include rack-server removal, storage equipment recovery, network hardware removal, infrastructure inventory, and coordinated equipment retirement.
02 · Under development
Structured equipment intake, serialized asset inventory, disposition tracking, and documented asset handling.
03 · Partner-supported
Data-bearing assets are handled through controlled workflows. Sanitization and verification methods are selected according to applicable media requirements, with qualified downstream destruction providers used where appropriate. Program development is informed by NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2. NIST publishes guidance; it does not certify LeStage Corp.
04 · Inquiry-based
Evaluation and recovery of reusable servers, RAM, processors, enterprise storage devices, network equipment, power infrastructure, and related components.
05 · Inquiry-based
Assessment of equipment for reuse, refurbishment, component recovery, or resale. Value depends on age, condition, configuration, and market demand.
06 · Partner-supported
Non-reusable equipment can be routed to appropriately qualified downstream recycling partners. This is not an in-house certified recycling operation.
Equipment we handle
Equipment acceptance and recovery value depend on age, condition, configuration, ownership documentation, data-handling requirements, and project logistics. Categories below are representative. Acceptance of every category is not guaranteed.
Our disposition process
This is the service sequence we are building. Reporting, sanitization, and collection methods are scoped after assessment and may include qualified downstream partners.
Step 01
Review equipment inventory, location, condition, security requirements, and project scope.
Step 02
Determine removal logistics, asset ownership, data-handling requirements, recovery opportunities, and downstream disposition needs.
Step 03
Coordinate equipment removal, serialized inventory, and documented custody transfer.
Step 04
Identify storage media and apply approved sanitization or destruction workflows appropriate to the engagement.
Step 05
Evaluate equipment for reuse, refurbishment, component recovery, or resale.
Step 06
Provide applicable inventory, sanitization, destruction, recovery, and disposition records based on the agreed scope of work.
MSP & IT partner program
Retired client equipment consumes valuable space and technician hours. Inventorying, transporting, sanitizing, testing, listing, packing, and shipping used hardware is rarely the best use of an MSP’s technical resources.
LeStage Corp is developing asset recovery and disposition partnerships designed to remove that burden.
Asset recovery & financial options
Enterprise hardware can retain recoverable value after production retirement. The appropriate structure depends on equipment value, processing costs, data requirements, transportation, and market conditions. Pickup is not assumed to be free, and payment is not offered without evaluation.
01
A scoped service engagement when processing, logistics, or data-handling costs exceed recoverable equipment value.
02
LeStage Corp may offer to purchase retired assets after evaluation. Payment is never promised before inspection of condition, configuration, and title.
03
Recoverable value may be applied as a credit against disposition, transportation, or sanitization costs.
04
In selected cases, remarketing proceeds can be shared after processing costs. Terms are set per engagement.
Security & accountability
Retired servers and storage still hold residual risk. The practices below are the control set this program is being built around. Application of each control is confirmed in the statement of work.
Program development is informed by NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2 — Guidelines for Media Sanitization. NIST publishes guidance; it does not certify LeStage Corp. This page does not display compliance badges or claim R2v3, e-Stewards, NAID AAA, ISO 27001, or ISO 14001 certification.
